Overview of CSS:

CSS stands for Cascading Style Sheet. It structures the layout of the content. Forming a CSS page is easy if you are familiar with the tags, tags are a command of what you want to happen on your web page, like font, colour, height, width, background colour or fonts, and much more! CSS helps maintain consistency throughout your web page.  There is multiple ways in which you can use CSS, few of the ways you can use internal CSS and external CSS.

Internal CSS always going to be at the top of your coding page, so it is easy to put styling to your site. External CSS is a link to your website, if you change anything in it, the rest of your website will be changes if it is linked to it.

 Design Considerations:

There are four main areas in design in which you should always consider which are contrast, repetition, alignment, and proximity. Contrast is when you are using colours and other elements such as different shapes and shading to enhance or highlight certain content. Repetition is when the initial page is created, and then you follow the same format throughout your pages, this makes it easy on the eyes and pleasant to look at. Alignment is very important. If things on your page are not aligned or centered properly, your page will look unorganized and very unprofessional. Ad finally proximity is something you need to consider, yo want to group related topics or objects close together to reduce unnecessary clutter.

Emerging Technologies

Virtual Environments:

I enjoyed trying out the virtual environment Meshmoon Rocket. I found the more people who went on it, the site became very slow. Since this is a fairly new site, I am sure that it will be improved int eh future. This site makes it easy to get a group of people together who are working together, but aren't in the same location.

Augmented Reality:

Augmented Reality I find really interesting and I really look forward to seeing the improvements that it will have in the next few years. Games like Pokemon GO use augmented reality to put objects or people in real life on your phone or any devices screen that has a camera, making game play a lot more interactive.

Virtual Reality:

Virtual reality , or VR submerges you into a new world. it is very interactive and you are seeing everything as if it is actually happening to you

Website Development Tools:

Wix:

I really enjoyed working with Wix. I like it a lot because it gives you a lot of artistic freedom to create the website you have been thinking about. Some of the features I like is that it shows you lines indicating if your content is lined up, centered and the same size as other content, I also love the free templates that Wix offeres. The only negative thing I can say about Wix is that it can be quite slow

WordPress:

WordPress is more of a blog website, I feel that you don't get as much artistic freedom when designing pages on WordPress. I like how yo can link pages on WordPress so the content only shows up as what you have tagged it as.
